Rakenne (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to respecting the intellectual property rights of others and to ensuring that our platform, content, and operations uphold the highest standards of IP integrity. This page describes how we approach intellectual property across the Rakenne platform.
Ownership of Your Content
Content you create using Rakenne belongs to you. We do not claim ownership over documents, workflows, or any other materials you produce through the platform. Our role is limited to processing and storing your content as necessary to deliver the Service, as described in our Terms of Usage .
Your content is never used to train language models or shared with third parties beyond what is required to operate the Service.
AI-Generated Outputs and Third-Party Rights
Rakenne uses large language models (LLMs) from providers such as Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google to power document drafting and workflow assistance. We take the following measures to reduce IP risk in AI-generated content:
- No verbatim reproduction. The platform is designed to produce original drafts rather than reproduce copyrighted text from training data. Our skill workflows guide the AI toward generating structured, purpose-built content.
- Attribution practices. Where outputs reference industry standards, regulations, or frameworks, we encourage proper attribution and direct users to authoritative sources for definitive text.
- Provider indemnification. Certain LLM providers offer intellectual property indemnification for model outputs generated through their APIs. These protections apply to content produced by the model itself. They do not extend to content you upload or inject into prompts.
- No guaranteed freedom from claims. While we take reasonable steps to minimize IP risk, we cannot guarantee that AI-generated outputs are free from all potential intellectual property claims. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before use.
Platform Content and Skill Library
The Rakenne skill library consists of workflow definitions, prompt templates, and reference materials. We maintain these standards for all platform-authored content:
- Original authorship. Skills and templates published by Rakenne are written by our team. We do not copy or embed copyrighted materials from third-party sources into our skill library.
- Factual references only. Where skills reference external standards, regulations, or frameworks (e.g., ISO standards, SOC 2 criteria, GDPR articles), they include only factual identifiers such as clause numbers or titles — never full normative text or copyrighted guidance.
- Periodic review. We conduct regular reviews of our skill library and platform content to verify that no copyrighted material has been inadvertently included. Issues discovered during review are promptly remediated.
Your Responsibilities
As a user of the platform, you agree to:
- Not upload or use content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others.
- Not use the platform to produce materials that you know or should reasonably know would violate third-party IP rights.
- Ensure that any content you provide as input — including documents uploaded for reference, custom skill definitions, and prompt context — is either owned by you, licensed for your use, or otherwise lawfully available.
- Review AI-generated outputs for potential IP concerns before distributing or publishing them.
These obligations are also reflected in our Terms of Usage .
Official Sources and Professional Review
Rakenne is a drafting and workflow tool — not a substitute for authoritative standards, legal texts, or professional counsel. If your work requires compliance with specific standards or regulations:
- Obtain official copies of applicable standards from their respective publishers or standards bodies.
- Have qualified professionals review any outputs before relying on them for compliance, legal, or regulatory purposes.
