Overview

Draft, update, and validate the legally required Statement of Purpose for CQC-registered healthcare providers in England. Maps service descriptions to the Five Key Questions (Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, Well-led) and validates regulated activities against CQC registration categories. Covers care homes, GP practices, dental surgeries, domiciliary care, and hospitals.

Getting Started

Add your source materials to the project workspace — CQC registration certificate, existing Statement of Purpose (if updating), and any provider details — then activate the CQC Statement of Purpose skill. The agent will guide you through the drafting, validation, and finalisation process.

What It Validates

The skill includes two automated validation tools:

• Regulatory Mapper — analyses your draft against the CQC Five Key Questions (Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, Well-led), scoring coverage as Strong, Moderate, Weak, or Absent and highlighting gaps to address before inspection.
• Service Type Sync — cross-checks the regulated activities listed in your document against the 15 recognised CQC registration categories, flagging any activities that are described in the service narrative but not formally listed (or vice versa).
