P3M3 Maturity Justification
Get Started with This SkillOverview
Elaborate evidence and rationale for the claimed maturity level for each P3M3 perspective (and optionally per sub-model PfM3, PgM3, PjM3), aligned to the five levels. For UK government, public sector, or AXELOS-aligned maturity reporting and assurance.
Getting Started
Add your source materials to the project workspace (e.g. self-assessment results, existing evidence), then activate the P3M3 Maturity Justification skill. The agent will guide you through claimed levels, evidence, and rationale per perspective.
Example Conversation
Below is an example of how a typical P3M3 Maturity Justification session unfolds. The agent confirms scope and drafts content aligned to P3M3 perspectives and levels.
You: We need to prepare our P3M3 Maturity Justification document. Can you draft it based on our current practices?
Agent: I’ll draft the Maturity Justification content. Do you have existing materials in the workspace (e.g. self-assessment results, process docs) I should use, or should I create a structure from the P3M3 reference?
You: We have a self-assessment summary in the workspace. Use that and the P3M3 perspectives and levels reference.
Agent: I’ve loaded the P3M3 reference (seven perspectives, five levels). I’ll map your evidence to each perspective and produce the Maturity Justification with claimed levels and rationale.

Extension and validation
This skill does not include custom validation tools. Elaboration is guided by the workflow in the skill and the P3M3 perspectives-and-levels reference. You can add extension tools later (e.g. to check coverage of all seven perspectives or level consistency) by editing the skill’s extension.ts.
