Overview
Draft or revise syllabi with learning outcomes, assessments, and outcome–assessment alignment matrix for accreditation and audit.
When to use this skill
Use this skill when you are:
- Designing or revising a course syllabus and need clear learning outcomes, assessments, and an explicit alignment matrix for accreditation or internal QA.
- Harmonizing multiple instructor versions of the same course so that outcomes, assessments, and alignment are consistent across sections or campuses.
- Preparing for program review or accreditation visits and want to confirm that every outcome is assessed and every major assessment maps back to at least one outcome.
- Auditing existing syllabi at scale to find gaps (missing alignment tables, orphan outcomes, or assessments with no linked outcomes).
Typical users include program directors, accreditation and QA staff, curriculum committees, and individual instructors who must meet institutional templates.
Getting Started
Add your syllabus (or outline) to the workspace and activate the skill. Run the validator to ensure outcomes, assessments, and an alignment table are present.
